Terms of Service

These terms govern your access to and use of PingChain's tags, website, and app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. PingChain is currently in beta and provided on an evolving basis.
Your account
- Signing up is free. You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your email secure.
- You must provide accurate information and be legally able to enter into these terms.
Tags & claiming
- A tag's QR is permanent; the profile behind it is yours to update.
- Claiming a tag requires the unique ID on a genuine PingChain tag. Only claim tags you own or are authorized to manage.
- You may transfer ownership of a tag to another account at any time.
Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to harass others, post unlawful or harmful content, attempt to access accounts that aren't yours, or interfere with the Service's operation. Finder messaging is for returning lost items — not for spam or abuse.
Lost & found
PingChain helps a finder reach you, but we don't guarantee recovery of any item and are not a party to arrangements between owners and finders. Any reward you offer is solely between you and the finder.
Beta & availability
The Service is provided "as is" during beta. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we don't warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PingChain is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost items, arising from your use of the Service.
